Welcome to Ontario
Rider Safety
|
We provide safety training for All
Terrain and Utility vehicles, to ensure our clients are properly trained to
use the vehicles on personal, government , and
industrial properties.
Whether a vehicle (ATV or UTV) is used
in an industrial environment, or for recreational purposes, safe-riding
practices should be followed. Completion of a rider safety course has
become mandatory on many job sites for employees. |
We have
ATV and UTV units available for rental during training, however, students may
provide their own mechanically sound ATV or UTV. Appropriate
riding gear, such as full length pants, helmets, gloves, and eye protection
is also mandatory, regardless of whether the training is at our facility or
yours. _____________________________________________________ Ontario
Rider Safety is an accredited ATV and UTV certified program, providing
training for employees who require it, to meet the Occupational Health and
Safety Act. Ontario
Rider Safety utilizes the Canada Safety Council's ATV and UTV training
Programs. The only ATV and UTV rider training program accredited Canada wide. |

The All Terrain Vehicle Student Rider Course is a 1 day
program designed to train the operator in the safe and efficient use of a ATV. This course includes both classroom and practical
training, with the greater emphasis on operational skills.he
curriculum, which is based on field-tested techniques, provides a fun and
orderly way to learn proper ATV operation. Knowing
all you can about an ATV reduces the risk of accidents and our instructors
will teach your staff about different vehicles they may encounter, the
difference in operating controls; proper braking, turning, hill climbing, how
to properly load, unload, and secure the ATV for transport, and lastly how to
properly winch their equipment if problems arise. |
